Sa Bom Nim Daymon Kenyon is a 7th degree Midnight Blue Belt (equivalent to Black Belt in other martial arts) in the art of Soo Bahk Do. He is the owner and head instructor of Kenyons Soo Bahk Do  and head of the Weh Gung Buh( official Soo Bahk Do). With more than 30 years of martial arts teaching experience he provides incredible results. World champion in Tang Soo Do and winner of many national and regional tournaments,  Master Kenyon inspires students to work hard to overcome challenges and obstructions, in order to achieve their goals. Sa Bom Nim Daymon Kenyon is highly recognized for his support of the Moo Duk Kwan and the Soo Bahk Do Federation. Against all odds he managed to establish his San Diego Martial Arts Schools in Pacific Beach, Ca and Solana Beach, Ca. Carrying out the legacy of his father Fred Kenyon he is supporting the community of San Diego for over 40 years.

Sa Bom Nim Vicki Kenyon is a 5th degree Midnight Blue Belt (equivalent to Black Belt in other martial arts) in the art of Soo Bahk Do. She is the head instructor at Kenyons Soo Bahk Do in Solana Beach. Master Vicki Kenyon is also a certified Women's Self Defense instructor.

Sa Bom Nim E.R. Gilmore


Sa Bom Nim E.R. Gilmore is a 5th degree Midnight Blue Belt (equivalent to Black Belt in other martial arts) in the Art of Soo Bahk Do. He is a certified instructor at Kenyon's Soo Bahk Do in San Diego and started training in the Martial Arts in 1984.  Sa Bom Nim Gilmore tested at regular intervals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Dan. In 2000, he tested for 4th Dan and Sa Bom at the Ko Dan Ja held in Carbondale, Colorado. In 2005 he tested for his 5th Degree Dan. He is a  successful competitor and is a 5 time member of the Region 9 Sparring and Hyung (technical forms) team. In 1989 he was the Region 9 Grand Champion at the Dan (Midnight Blue Belt) level. In 2005 Master Gilmore was an honored participant in a demo at the Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame Festival when the President of our Organization, Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, was the recipient of the Black Belt Magazine Man of the Year award. All four of Sa Bom Nim Gilmore's children train in Soo Bahk Do.

Kyo Sa Nim Mario Schapp


Kyo Sa Nim Mario Schapp is a 3rd degree Midnight Blue Belt (equivalent to Black Belt in other martial arts) in the art of Soo Bahk Do. He is a certified instructor at Kenyons Soo Bahk Do and owner and operator of Satori Arts, a martial arts personal training service in San Diego .  Mr Schapp is certified by the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy to teach the Gracie Combatives Program and is a certified Zen Touch Shiatsu Technician. He is a  successful competitor at regional, national and international martial arts tournaments. He holds 6 national titles and won the silver medal at the 1st Open Black Belt World Championship in Toronto, Canada in traditional korean forms. In the kickboxing middle weight division Mr Schapp achieved 3rd place at the same Karate tournament. Mario Schapp has traveled the world for many years, studying various martial art styles and methods. Since 2005 Kyo Sa Nim Schapp is the lead martial arts instructor for the Self Defense Program  at the Blind Community Center of San Diego.  Mr. Schapp is also an instructor of the Children's Martial Arts classes here at Kenyon's Soo Bahk do and he also teaches Children Classes at local elementary schools around San Diego.

Mr James Baum


An Alumni of the Kenyon's Soo Bahk Do Children's Martial Arts Program; Mr. James Baum is a 3rd Degree
Midnight Blue Belt (equivalent to Black Belt in other martial arts) in the art of Soo Bahk Do and works as an instructor at Kenyons Soo Bahk Do. The young martial arts prodigy displays great skill and knowledge in his teaching. Mr. Baum has studied the Martial Arts for more than 17 years. He has gained deep insight into nutritional counseling, general fitness and body building.
